Direct Metal Laser Sintering is one of the technology of 3D printing that directly creates a metal part from its 3D computer model. The working material for this 3D printing technology is finely powedered metal. The particle size and shape limit the detail resolution of the metal part.

Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing is a 3D printing process developed by Markforged. It is built on the foundation of metal injection molding.

It is an end to end process that starts with metal powder, captures in a plastic binder and then forms it into the part shape one layer at a time.
